We're a project to address one of businesses' top concerns:

The rising cost of health care.

While we haven’t discovered the silver bullet to the health care crisis, we are committed to helping you and your members understand the issues driving costs, as well as making it to easier to participate in current efforts to reform Colorado’s health care system.

The Legislature passed Senate Bill 208 last year, creating the Blue Ribbon Commission on Health Care Reform, which is examining ways to lower costs and increase access to quality care. Lawmakers are closely watching the work of the group, because it may form the basis of large-scale health care reform in Colorado next year. The solutions it recommends, as well as policies developed by lawmakers and the Ritter administration, could have a profound impact on businesses and employees.

Will employers be required to offer insurance? Must everyone buy it?

Those questions are still being answered, but either way, employers have a huge stake in the debate, as well as its outcome. There’s long been talk about reforming the system, but change could be on the horizon. Now’s the time to learn the issues and weigh in.
